Doug grew up in a loving, middle-class home where his dad was a mechanic and his mom was their church secretary. His parents instilled in him the values of faith, family, freedom, hard work, and a strong sense of duty. As a 15-year resident of St Jacobs and a long-time resident in the region, Doug is deeply committed to serving the great people of Kitchener-Conestoga.
Doug is a well-spoken, engaging conversationalist and public speaker who leads his life with integrity. Actively involved with his local faith community, Doug firmly believes we must build Canada on a principled foundation of accountability, truth, and transparency.
