Doug is Committed to Serving Kitchener-Conestoga
Doug grew up in a loving, middle-class home where his dad was a mechanic and his mom was their church secretary. His parents instilled in him the values of faith, family, freedom, hard work, and a strong sense of duty. As a 16-year resident of St Jacobs and a long-time resident in the region, Doug is deeply committed to serving the great people of Kitchener-Conestoga.
Having founded and served as CEO of ThinkLP, a fraud prevention technology company and one of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies, Doug is a global expert in fraud prevention and a highly successful entrepreneur and local job creator. He deeply understands the need to educate and recruit world-class talent locally and works to create opportunities for everyone to establish and build a great life in Canada.
As a recipient of Waterloo Region's Top 40 Under 40 (2009), and a Canada 150 Award, Doug is one of the best and brightest of Kitchener-Conestoga. His work ethic is second to none, and he is working endlessly to restore freedom, dignity, and fairness for Kitchener-Conestoga and all of Canada.
